What granite colours are popular right now?
Demand has moved away from the heavily speckled browns and golds that defined granite for two decades and towards stones that read quieter from across a room: soft whites and greys with fine veining, and at the other end deep charcoals and blacks with a leathered rather than polished finish. Leathering in particular has grown, because it hides fingerprints and water marks that a polished dark granite shows constantly. Choose from a full slab rather than a sample, because a 300mm square tells you almost nothing about how a slab reads.
